Intro

My name is Allison and I am your mod here at the 52 photography challenge. I'm hoping that this will soon become an active community filled with lots of lovely people and their lovely photography projects.

A little about me:
I am twenty-two, engaged, majoring in early childhood education. I started my 365 project on the first of June, so I'm going to go ahead and add the 52 challenge to that and will continue the few weeks after my 365 project is complete making sure I complete this one as well. I'm a novice at photography but very much love being able to express myself through it. I'm also a fan of reading, knitting, drawing, watching movies and listening to music. I'm rather boring but I'm happy, so I think that's okay.

I started my 52 challenge this past week. Here is my offering and the word that I chose. I'm hoping with my example up, maybe more people in become interested in joining so I don't have to be so lonely here. =]

Word prompt: 31. Bag
Shot: 14/365 days and 1/52 weeks

I purchased a new bag right before I did this challenge, so I thought it would be a good way to start it off. Those are the things I carry around with me daily. First, the bag itself. Then the camera bag, eyeglass cleaner, a journal and pen, and a book. Then, my wallet (I really need a new one), a notebook and another book. I always have at least two books with me, for whatever reason I might have.

I took this shot, too. And I like it a lot more than the one above. I'm not sure why I chose the one I did, but when I thought about it later, I  had wished I had made a different choice. I do so many macro shots, though, it's probably best I went with the one I did.

Now, I'm off to choose my next word prompt and go take some more pictures for the day. I'm hoping to soon take my prompt and use it every day for that week, just to see if I can really do it. Yay goals.
